Graduated with a 4.0 GPA - Master of Science (Industrial Engineering). Majored in Reliability Engineering. (June 1st, 1987)
Promoted to Major --- Moved to Ottawa, serving first at the Land Engineering Test Establishment and, later, in the Army’s technical directorate in National Defence Headquarters. (June 1st, 1987)
Jacob (Jake) Alexander Marshall born. Tim’s very special first born named, in part, after Tim’s father Alex. Jake is now proudly following in his father's military footsteps, albeit in the RCAF. Jake is one smart avionics technician. (June 28th, 1988)

Moved the family to Calgary --- Served two years as Commanding Officer, Maintenance Company, 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (July 15th, 1991)
Moved to Kingston, Ontario. --- Served as Base Maintenance Officer at Canadian Forces Base Kingston (2 years) (July 15th, 1993)
Moved “his little family of four” to Maryland, USA. --- Served for three years at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland as Canadian Liaison Officer and Reliability Engineer (July 15th, 1995)
Decided to retire from the Canadian Forces --- Moved back to Canada to Brampton --- With his decision where he had previously secured (with his decision to retire) a position with a subsidiary of Acres International as an engineering project manager focused primarily on risk-based management solutions (February 1st, 1999)
Formal retirement date from the Canadian Forces (having burned of the last of his leave accumulated over the years) (September 1st, 1999)
2002 – 2005 Over time and as Acres reorganized, the family moved to Niagara Region. --- Lived in Fenwick, Ont. with his "Little Family of Four”. (January 1st, 2002)
Left Acres International and joined Capital Planning Solutions in Markham, Ont as their Senior Project Manager (for the next 4 years) --- Moved to Barrie, Ont. where Jake and Jenn continued their educations. (August 15th, 2004)
Became a certified SCUBA diver along with Jennifer Marshall in Barrie Ontario (August 1st, 2007)
Completed PADI Divemaster and Open Water Instructor Course in Barrie (April 1st, 2008)
Joined the Altus Group as the Director responsible for Customer Relations and Capital Planning. (An engineer responsible for customer relations … go figure … but showed the breadth of his skills and his innate ability to build strong client relationships). (4 years) (November 15th, 2008)

Tim met Lauren for the first time in Toronto (June 6th, 2019)
Family Dive Trip to Jamaica (Tim, Jake, Jenn, Dan, Olivia) (October 1st, 2019)
Tim traveled to Maple Ridge BC and met Lauren’s husband Garry Larson and sons Colby and Nolan (19 and 17, respectfully) – Tim’s other son-in-law and two grandsons! (October 15th, 2019)
Caribbean dive trip with Lauren (December 2nd, 2019)
Christmas dive trip with Jake (back to Jamaica) (December 23rd, 2019)
Diagnosed with kidney cancer, found to have spread to liver and (later) to heart (March 11th, 2020)

Home from the hospital --- Jenn assumed the role as chief care-giver and disciplinarian, Dan as Executive Chef (April 23rd, 2020)
